North Down (RUR) Branch Royal Irish Rangers Association

                                                                                        

Welcome to the homepage of the North Down  Branch (RUR) The Royal Irish Rangers Association.
 
The North Down Branch is mainly made up of ex Royal Ulster Rifles and Royal Irish Rangers although we also have other members such as UDR, Royal Irish Regiment and a wide variety of all other ex crown forces, we welcome all.
 
We meet at the Royal British Legion, Newtownards third Friday each month.
To join our branch you must have served 35 years in the Royal Irish, Only joking, if that was the case we wouldn't  have more than 50 members. Regardless if you have served 3 years or 30 years you are welcome here or one of the other associations around Northern Ireland and England.
 
After the meetings which starts at 8 o'clock and lasts about an hour, most of our members leave the meeting room and go down to the lounge for a bit of a chinwag and a soft drink. We also have several functions and days out over the year, old soldiers day, annual BBQ, St Paddy's night, Xmas and more.
